Anyway, let's start planning! I will be in London from next Wednesday to the following Sunday. Would it be better to meet on a week day or on the weekend? I thought maybe we could get afternoon tea at Drink Shop Do since so many of you suggested I stop in for a visit. Or we could just meet up in a park and chat for a bit. I'm up for anything!
If you are interested and think you can meet sometime next week, please send me an email at sheepishknitcrochet(at)gmail(dot)com so I can get a group email together. Then we can all say hi and start planning.
Also, if you have any suggestions on where would be best to meet, please leave a comment and let me know!
Who thinks they can come?

ReplyDeleteAW! such a nice idea, I'm really upset I no longer live in London. It's just way too far for me to come now, I live way up on the border of Scotland.
ReplyDeletepoo!
Hope you all have a lobvely time. x
I have a completely off topic comment. I painted my nails with Orly's Jealous Much? & the color made me think of you. What is the name of the nail polish that you usually wear?
ReplyDeleteOhh, I can't wait to hear all about your amazing trip! <3

You should meet Aspiring Kennedy (http://www.aspiringkennedy.com)! She's a native Texan transplanted to London & Paris and loves to get together with fellow bloggers! She's the best person to show you around to all the great tea and coffee houses. You can tell her her cousin-in-law Krystal sent you her way! :)
ReplyDeleteI really wish I lived in London so I could meet up with you! Sounds like it will quite a fun time. :) Enjoy your travels!

ReplyDeleteHi Meredith, it's a great trip, I love London and Paris. I live near Paris and it would be a pleasure to me to see you. I follow your blog "anonymously" and I think it's lovely and I would love to meet you. My English is not perfect, but I think I can do it... lol

Hi Meredith,
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to send you a wee note to wish you a lovely holiday! I hope your journey across the pond is a safe one (and free from any trouble - I just flew in to Glasgow from Pennsylvania last week and got in 9 hours later than expected :P). I hope you'll enjoy your time in London and Paris - I don't know if you've ever been to either before, but I found the first time I went to England and France changed my life. If you would've ended up in bonnie Scotland, I would've loved to have met you for some tea! :) I'm here until June 4 visiting my boyfriend.
Take care and have a WONDERFUL time. Can't wait to hear all about it in your posts! :)
Leslie
Oh my goodness this came round quickly!
ReplyDeleteI would love to get involved in a London meet up. Drink Shop Do should be pretty fun.
Hope you have a safe journey :-)
Hi! I don't know if anyone have told you already about these places in London and Paris, but I'm sure you will love Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese Pub in London. Is in the 145 Fleet Street, the entrance is in the corner, on Wine Office Court.
ReplyDeleteAbout Paris go for breakfast to Coquelicot, is in the 24 rue des Abbesses (Montmartre). Trust me, you will love both.
I can't meet with you as I'm in Madrid, Spain, but I hope you have a great trip to Europe. Next time put Spain in your plans, you won't be dissapointed.
Best, Nuria.
