Home Again - A few vacation snapshots

Hello friends!! I am finally home from vacation in London and Paris. Wowee I had a great time. I am still pinching myself when I think about the sights I saw and foods I tasted. It was a truly wonderful experience. I have so many more pictures to share from the trip but I thought I would post some of the Instagrams I was able to post thanks to free hotel wi-fi. It was weird being separated from my phone and internet for most of the day during this vacation. However, since I wasn't focused on twitter and emails, I could enjoy everything even more! I am always a fan of being unplugged, even when I technically didn't have a choice. ;)

I will share more pictures and details over the next few days...after I unpack, recover from a serious case of jet lag (what time is it, anyway? haha.) and get reorganized again. Vacations are great but everything seems a little bit all over the place at the moment.

Thanks for all of the travel tips, well wishes, and happy emails over the past week! You definitely made this trip extremely special. I hope you enjoyed the lovely guest posts from Erin, Kim, Katie, and Elycia. I can't wait to try out the recipes and craft projects this summer.

I hope you all have a great weekend! What are you up to these days? Are you leaving for a vacation any time soon?

  7. These are so pretty. @.@ I love the flowers, those crocheted chairs (?) and that shot of the coffee/tea. Also the high up shot from a window, I am guessing, of the city below and... Wow. What a trip!!! I am so glad you had fun, miss. :D

  18. I've been to Paris when I was 8 but it was a day trip from Belgium to see the Eiffel Tower and that was it. So I missed out on all the charms of the city. London, however, is my dream city and I have yet to visit it.
Your photos are fabulous, they just sent me into a wanderlust frenzy, haha.

  35. I just went to Laduree in NYC on Madison Avenue. The shop is tiny and they really only sell confections. I am jealous that you got to visit the "true" French version, but I must say the macarons on this side of the pond are delicious. I could eat them all day! Glad to see you had a marvelous time.

  36. Umm, yep, so I am super jealous of your vacation snapshots! I'm drying to have the opportunity to go back to Europe again, or really just travel anywhere else outside the US!

I will have a bit of vacation from work soon- I'll be going home to visit my family in CA, which I'm very much looking forward to :)
