Knitting // I've seen Izziyana Suhaimi's work all over the place the last few months. Each time I see her artwork I am inspired. I especially love her embroidery creations with yarn. Obviously. ;-)
Crochet // This embroidered, crochet piece by Rosa Marrero makes me smile.
Etsy // The details on the embroidered berets from Tiny Toadstool are so beautiful.
Style // I would love to update an old sweatshirt with this cool embroidery kit.
Art // The embroidered art from Maricor/Maricar is simply incredible. I love this print because it is one of my favorite quotes from one of my favorite movies, Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory.
Food // This strawberry jam recipe from Rebekka Seale sounds absolutely scrumptious. I especially like her embroidered jam jar covers. I'm inspired to make a few of my own for my next batch of jam.Now that I've been bitten by the embroidery bug, my eyes have opened to a whole new world of artists and techniques I never noticed before. Man, was I missing out! I am feeling extra inspired to start mixing together all of my favorite crafts (knitting, crochet, and now, embroidery) into some new creations.
I hope you all had a great weekend! I celebrated my dad's birthday by seeing the new Spider Man movie (it was awesome) and enjoying one last piece of blueberry crumb pie.
This summer is wonderfully craft-filled and I love it. :)
Happy Sunday!
